Newsletter Email Use & Privacy

How We Use Your Email for the Newsletter

When you subscribe to the Possible by Design Newsletter, we use your email solely to send you occasional updates, new resources, and project news. We aim to write only when we have something meaningful to share.

Your Consent & Your Control
  • You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

  • Unsubscribing removes you immediately from our mailing list.

  • We comply with Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL), which requires clear consent and easy opt‑out.

What We Never Do
  • We never sell, share, or trade your email with anyone.

  • We never add you to other lists without your explicit consent.

  • We never use your Newsletter subscription to track your behaviour on the site.

How We Protect Your Information

Your email is stored securely and used only for the purpose you agreed to: receiving the Newsletter. We keep only the minimum information required to manage your subscription responsibly.

Separate From the Atlas

Your Newsletter subscription is completely separate from your participation in the Atlas. Adding to the Atlas does not sign you up for the Newsletter.

Atlas Email Use & Privacy

The Atlas asks for your email once, the first time you participate. This step helps us confirm that each submission comes from a real person, which protects the integrity of the global signal we’re building together.

Here’s how your email is used — and how it isn’t.

How We Use Your Email for the Atlas
  • Verification only. We use your email to send a one‑time verification code.

  • Ensuring the Atlas remains human‑powered. Email verification helps prevent bots, duplicates, and automated submissions so the daily count reflects real people taking real steps.

  • Delivering your daily thank-you, artwork and quote. Each time you click Count Me In, we send you a small moment of beauty and encouragement.

That’s it.

How We Do Not Use Your Email
  • We never share, sell, or trade your email with anyone. Not with partners, not with companies, not with other participants.

  • We never attach your email to your submissions. All Atlas contributions are anonymized before they appear in the daily count or in the community "Your Ideas" section.

  • We never use your Atlas email for marketing.

  • The Atlas and the Newsletter are separate. Joining one does not sign you up for the other.

  • We never track your behaviour across the site. The Atlas is designed to be a calm, private space for reflection and action.

Anonymization & Data Handling
  • When we share community ideas or daily participation numbers, they are fully anonymized.

  • We retain only the minimum information needed to operate the Atlas responsibly and prevent abuse.

If You Also Subscribe to the Newsletter

The Newsletter follows Canada’s anti‑spam requirements (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time, and your Newsletter subscription is managed separately from your Atlas participation.

Your Choice, Always

You can participate in the Atlas as often or as rarely as you like. You can stop at any time.

Feedback Form Email Use & Privacy

How We Use Your Email for the Feedback Form

When you send us a message through the Feedback Form, your email is used only for the purpose of receiving your note.

What We Never Do
  • We never add your email to any mailing list.

  • We never share, sell, or trade your email with anyone.

  • We never use your message or email for marketing or tracking.

How We Protect Your Information

Your message and email are stored securely and accessed only by our small team. We keep only the minimum information needed to receive your note and maintain the integrity of the site.

Separate From the Atlas and Newsletter

Sending a message through the Feedback Form does not sign you up for the Newsletter or connect your message to your Atlas participation. All three systems are fully separate.
