We set an audacious goal of 50 federal ridings by Earth Day. Thanks to you, by April 22, 2026, representatives in 22 ridings had received 38 letters in 3 countries - Canada, the U.S., and Australia.

You rock!  And you are deeply appreciated.  The question future generations will ask is what we did when we knew.  You did this. And this is the most meaningful thing we know to do to bend the curve.

But climate literacy doesn't have a season. Neither does the need for citizens to give their representatives political safety to act. And some of you reached out to say you were just getting started.

So...we're keeping everything running: the counters above, the advocacy ideas, the invitation below.

Welcome to the Earth "Year" Challenge - where we bend the emissions curve in 2026.

Wherever you live, whenever you have five minutes, your voice still counts.

Earth "Year" 2026:  A Global Call for Practical Climate Action

We invite you to start with a video about the Earth "Year" Challenge:

And if you're looking for a deeper understanding of the Four Advocacy Ideas, look no further!

Across the world, a quiet supermajority already supports smart climate action - but hasn't yet had a simple, concrete way to show it. This Earth "Year", we're creating one.

Our goal: as many people in federal electoral districts - across as many countries as possible - sending a short email or letter to their national representative in 2026.

The Advocacy page has a ready-to-adapt template covering four no-cost asks - Climate Footprint Labels, Abatement Pathways, Geo Zero Products, and Regulate All Emissions. Together, these four asks create the information, standards, products, and regulatory backbone every country needs to accelerate climate progress - quickly, affordably, and with broad public support. It takes about five minutes to adapt and send.

Once you've sent your message, log it in the Planetary Action Atlas - select Advocacy, and mention your federal electoral district in the notes. Your country is captured automatically. Your contribution appears anonymously on the Your Ideas page, helping build a real-time picture of global participation. Decision-makers can see it too, and that visibility matters.

Below is a list of resources to help you find your federal representative.

Let us know what countries we've missed or if you have better links to make it easier for others to take part.

Note that different countries have different terms for federal electoral areas - your country may call it a riding, constituency, electorate, seat, division, or other.  Any of these works in your Atlas note.

How to Find Your Representative

Thanks for taking part!

Let's make this Earth Day the moment the world's quiet supermajority becomes visible - and begins to bend the emissions curve.
